Mechanical Trades : Fitter, Welder, Machinist, Turner, Carpenter, Electrician, Diesel Mechanic, Pipe Fitter, and many more
Engineering Trades : Draughtsman (Civil), Surveyor, CAD-CAM Operator, Building Maintenance Technician, Mason
Electronics & Electrical Trades : Information Technology System Maintenance, Electrical Mechanic, TIG/MIG Welder, Operator PLC System
Medical Trades : Health Sanitary Inspector, Lab Technician (Pathology), Lab Technician (Radiology)
Administrative Trades : Secretarial Assistant, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant
Each division and workshop has specific openings, including in locations like Katihar, Alipurduar, Rangiya, Lumding, Tinsukia, New Bongaigaon, and Dibrugarh.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates who meet the following requirements are encouraged to apply:
Educational Qualifications : Passed Matriculation (10th grade) with at least 50% aggregate marks and ITI in the relevant trade (requirements vary for specific trades)
Age Limit : 15 to 24 years as of the closing date (December 3, 2024), with relaxation for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen
Special Criteria : For certain trades, additional qualifications are needed, such as 12th-grade science for Lab Technicians
Selection Process:
Merit-Based : Selection will be based on a merit list prepared by calculating the average marks in Matriculation and ITI.
Document Verification : Shortlisted candidates will be invited for document verification.
No Centralized Merit List : Separate merit lists are prepared for each division and trade, so candidates should carefully choose their preferences.
