BTC Kokrajhar Recruitment 2024- 414 Posts, Forester,Forest Guard, Last date Extended

The Central Selection Board (Bodoland Territorial Council) Kokrajhar has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 414 posts in Forester-I and Forest Guard under BTC Area. Interested and eligible candidates who are a parmanent resident of Bodoland Territorial Council may apply for this post vacancy.

1. Name of Post: Forester-1

No of Posts: 84

Essential Qualification: Minimum Bachelor Degree in any stream from a recognised university or equivalent.

Pay Scale : PB-2 14000/- to 49000/- +GP6200/-

2. Name of Post: Forest Guard

No of Posts : 330

Essential Qualification : Minimum Higher Secondary (10+2) or Equivalent.

Pay Scale: PB-2 14000/- to 49000/- +GP 5600/-

Residential : Candidates Must be a parmanent resident of BTC(BTR). Candidates who are outside of BTR need not apply.

Age Criteria: Age limit of 18 to 25 Years as on 31st January 2024.

Age Relaxation: Category Wise age relaxation are as follows -

# SC/ST : 5 Years

# OBC/MOBC : 3 Years

Application Fee :  The Category Wise Application fee are as follows -

#SC/ST : 100/-

#General/MOBC/OBC : 150/-

Payment Mode: All the eligible candidates applying for the post as mentioned above need to deposit a Treasury Challan to be paid at Kokrajhar Treasury Office or IPO for an amount of Rs. 150/-(Rupees one hundred fifty) only for General/OBC/MOBC candidates and Rs. 100/-(Rupees one hundred) only for SC/ST candidates. In case of Treasury Challan the challan must be paid in favour of the Principal Secretary, BTC, Kokrajhar payable at Kokrajhar Treasury Ofice only under the Head of Account-8443 Civil Deposit, Personal Deposit, BTC.

The challan paid Kokrajhar Treasury Office only will be accepted. And in case of IPO must be paid in favour of the Member Secretary, CSB, Kokrajlar payable at Kokrajior Head Post Office.

Mode of Application: Offline

The mode of selection/examination for the post of Forester-1 and Forest Guard as mentioned above will be as follows.

(a) Written Test for 3 Hours on General Knowledge, General Mathematics and English of Higher Secondary standard for Forester-I and HSLC standard for Forest Guard.

(b) Physical Fitness Test comprising 26 Kms for male and 16 Kms for female of walking to be covered within 4 hours followed by a medical examination will also be conducted for both. Viva-Voce Test.
