Essential Qualification of Assam Police Recruitment
Boatman:
(a) Passed HSLC or equivalent examination.
(b) Proficiency in swimming
Constable (Communication):
# H.S. (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council.
#The Candidates must have obtained pass marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) in H.S. (Science) examination to apply for the post.
Constable (UB): H.S. or Class XII passed .
Constable (AB): H.S.L.C or Class-X passed.
Driver Constable:
HSLC or equivalent examination passed and must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
Grade IV: Minimum Class VIII passed and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed.
Safai Karmachari: Minimum Class VI passed and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed.
Sub Inspector (UB): Graduate
Sub Inspector (AB): Graduate
