Applications are invited from ST (P) meritorious students for "Financial Assistance" under the scheme "Special Incentive to ST (P) Meritorious Students" for the year 2023-24.Eligible Candidates May apply for this scheme before closing the date.
The Directorate of Tribal Affairs (Plain), Assam has issued an official Notification for providing "Financial Assistance" under the scheme "Special Incentive to ST (P) Meritorious Students"
Financial Assistance for ST (P) Students 2023-24
Name of Task: "Financial Assistance" under the scheme "Special Incentive to ST (P) Meritorious Students"
Financial Year : 2023-24
Qualification: 10th & 12th Pass
Passing Year : 2023
Family income criteria: No Family Income Limit.
Eligibility Criteria:
# Students must belong to ST (P) community of Assam.
# He/She must have secured 80% or above in H.S.L.C. (10th) and 75% or above in H.S. (10+2) examination.
# This incentive shall be awarded only to the meritorious students who have secured the prescribed percentage of marks or grades in the last final exam of H.S.L.C. & H.S., 2023.
# There is no income criterion of Parents/Guardians for availing this benefit.

Applicants should apply in the prescribed format uploaded in the official website of the Director, Tribal Affairs (Plain), Assam. They can follow the steps given below to apply the application form.

# A PDF file form will be open and print out this form.
# Fill your all personal details as mentioned on application form.
# For the same along with all the relevant documents submit it to the office of the Directorate of Tribal Affairs (Plain), Assam, Rukmini Nagar, Dispur Last Gate, Satrinivash path, Ghy-6 Within the last date.
Important NOTE:
"The grant of financial assistance under this scheme to any ST (P) candidate is not a matter of right. Assistance would be extended depending on the applicant satisfying the eligibility and also keeping in view the financial allocation available for the purpose. The Selection Committee reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason thereof if the application is not found satisfactory. Moreover this Directorate will not be held responsible for any type of false information? error provided by the applicant."
