NB : The candidates must be citizens of India and a permanent resident of Bodoland Territorial Council, Assam.

Eligibility Criteria for (Six) Months Recorders Class Course Training

Essentiall Qualification :

1. The candidates should be Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute minimum of 45% marks for SC/ST and 50% marks for General candidates in Graduation.

2. The candidates having proficiency in use of Computer and Information technology; and having minimum 20 words per minute computer typing speed in Bodo/English/Assamese/Bengali.

Age Criteria >

Age Limit: Candidates must not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 40 years of age as on 1^st January, 2023.

Age Relaxation >

The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates only.

Format for Application >

The candidates may apply in the Assam (Gazette Part-IX) standard form of application.

How to Apply ?

The candidates must submit their application to the Director of Land Records & Surveys, BTC, Kokrajhar along with self-attested copies of all testimonials and 2 (two) passport size photographs in an envelope. The size of the envelope should be 25 cm X 10 cm. The application should be superscribed as "Application for Recorders' Certificate Class CourseTraining, 2023".

Candidates already in service in any Govt./ Semi Govt./ Undertaking must submit their application through proper channel.

Candidates should also enclose one envelope (23 cm x 10 cm) with neatly superscribed self address affixed with postal stamp of Rs. 10 inside the first envelope.

Candidates should also deposit Application Fee of Rs. 150 for un-reserved candidates and Rs. 100 for SC/ST/OBC/ MOBC candidates in the form of IPO/ Demand Draft in the name of the DLR & Surveys, BTC, Kokrajhar along with the application.

Plan of Selection Test >>

Candidates whose applications are received in time and found to be in order in all respect will be allowed to appear in a written test to be held in places to be notified in due course of time. Qualified candidates in the written examination will be eligible on the basis of district wise merit list for appearing in the Viva-Voice to be held in the Directorate of Land Records and Surveys, BTC, Kokrajhar for final selection for undergoing 6 (six) months Recorders' Class Course Training at the Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati.

Standard of Examination >>

The written examination will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) pattern comprising of test of Reasoning, General Studies, Mathematics, General English and Bodo/Assamese/Bengali. The candidates who qualify in the written test and called for interview shall have to undergo computer practical test in addition to viva-voice. Reservation of candidates for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC, Women and Physically Handicapped will be as per Rule of Sixth Schedule area.

Candidates will be selected District wise against the existing/probable vacancy of the post of Lot Mandals / Recorders likely to be vacant upto 31 January, 2026.

Publicity directly or indirectly will be treated as disqualification of the candidature of the candidate. Impersonation will be dealt with according to the law of land.
